Daffodil Corona Emerged

Daffodil Corona Emerged

Daffodil Corona Emerged - The daffodil is one of the few plants with a 'corona', a crown-like structure also referred to as the 'trumpet'. Once foliage and stalk growth has reached its maximum limits, depending on the cultivar, the daffodil flowers open in two stages. The petals, or perianth, open flat, and the cup, or corona, emerges from their center.
